Adako is a small accounting firm located on the Corda Campus in Hasselt. Their mission? To support and guide clients as if they were co-pilots on the entrepreneurial journey. Advice is central to them, and they want to keep it that way.

What were the main reasons for you to partner with BAS?
Simple. We were facing challenges. We were short-staffed and couldn't find the right profiles, like so many colleagues in our profession. BAS offered us exactly what we were looking for: an expertise in accounting, especially the administrative piece of our accounting job. This allows us to focus on what we do best: consulting.

How was the process of first meeting and starting the collaboration?
Our first meeting felt right away. Both Hans and Lucas knew the pain points of a small office, also from their own experience they knew exactly what we needed. It very quickly became familiar and a match made in heaven: BAS the administration, us the advice.

BAS has since become a fixture in our office. The employee who does not work in the office but outside. This saves us both time and money, but more so it allows us to focus on our core business: advising and guiding the client. Our service has improved significantly as a result.

Outsourcing our accounting activities to BAS has allowed us to shift our focus to core activities. Not only does this save us time, but it has also improved the quality and accuracy of our financial analyses, as we now have more time to focus on them.

The growth per se in number of clients has never been our intention, but the growth in services and guidance has. That is why we are grateful to BAS for crossing our path. How do you experience communication with the BAS team?
Although BAS is not physically located in our Hasselt office, we still have a short line of communication. We arrange a lot through Microsoft Teams. If necessary, we can always schedule an online meeting, and BAS is happy to make time for this.
